XLOT-BLDC Motor Driver is a compact 3-phase brushless motor driver board , designed for controlling small BLDC and PMSM motors. It works with platforms such as Arduino, ESP32 and SimpleFOC, making it suitable for FOC motor control experiments, gimbal motors, robotic joints, wireless motion control, kinetic art installations, and interactive mechanical projects.
The board provides three-phase U / V / W motor outputs and is controlled by external PWM signals from a microcontroller. With separate high-side and low-side control of the three half-bridges, it allows flexible control of motor commutation and is suitable for sinusoidal drive, FOC experiments, and low-voltage brushless motor applications.
XLOT-BLDC Motor Driver is especially useful for makers, interactive art designers, and robotics developers. When paired with an ESP32, it can be used for Wi-Fi, ESP-NOW, Bluetooth, or web-based wireless control, allowing the motor to respond in real time to touch, color, distance, motion, sound, or other sensor inputs.
Please note that 3-phase motor control requires proper PWM control from an external microcontroller. This board is a 3-phase power driver, not a standalone closed-loop FOC controller. For full control, a microcontroller typically needs to provide six PWM signals, and position sensors such as magnetic encoders or Hall sensors can be added for closed-loop feedback. The Arduino SimpleFOC library is recommended for development and experimentation.
